Waiting at the airport

2017 New Routes

25th October, 2016

The growth seen this year at Almeria airport in 2016 is set to be eclipsed in 2017 with a number of new routes and more flights from existing destinations. The number of direct flights during the summer from the UK and Ireland will increase by a massive 26% compared to 2016. The summer of 2016 has already seen 30% increases on the previous year, great news for the local area.

The big news is that from May 2017, Jet 2 will start operating direct flights into Almeria airport from a host of destinations in the UK including Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh, East Midlands and Leeds Bradford.
Thomas Cook are adding Bristol to their existing list of routes which currently includes Manchester, Birmingham, Stansted, Gatwick and Glasgow.

Easyjet continue with their daily service from Gatwick, Monarch continue with three flights a week from Manchester, Thomson continue with two flights a week from Manchester and Ryanair will continue to offer twice weekly flights from Dublin and Stansted.

Exclusive Airport Shuttles are prepared for the growth and will continue to operate buses for all direct flights to and from the UK and Ireland. All available flights can now be booked via the website or office for 2017.
We will be expanding further next year with the addition of buses to serve the Belgian flights to and from Almeria airport.
