Thomas Cook collapse
23rd September, 2019
Following the collapse of Thomas Cook, we have put the following measures in place and ask all customers to follow the instructions. We understand that everyone will need to alter their travel arrangements as soon as possible but ask you to refrain from calling the office unless absolutely necessary.
Passengers to be repatriated to the UK from Almeria. The CAA will arrange flights, once the details are known and the times of the flights, we will set up special buses for each flight. You will be able to change your ticket to one of these buses free of charge.
The CAA website is www.thomascook.caa.co.uk and they have already listed the following dates with flight details yet to be added, we will continually monitor this website and respond accordingly:
25th September
28th September
29th September
5th October
6th October
Passengers affected by this or simply wishing to change onto another flight from Almeria are asked to do so via the manage my booking section, using your email address and booking reference you can easily make changes and much quicker than calling or visiting the office. We will modify all remaining bookings to the correct flights once details are known.
If you wish to change from Almeria to Murcia or Alicante then please call the office and simply pay the difference between the ticket prices. (We will not be able to do this from the emergency number as we are unable to process payment from this number)
Clients wishing to cancel tickets for Thomas Cook flights only will be given 100% credit voucher for use over the next 12 months or a 100% refund as we offered when Monarch collapsed. This will be offered for the next 14 days.
We will do all we can to help but we will undoubtedly be under huge pressure in the office over the coming days so please only call if it is a matter of urgency that you are unable to do online.
Thank you
